When artfully manufactured and installed, brass wall paneling can be an exclusive work of art that really beautifies your home. The golden splendor of polished brass panels now adorns the dining area of a historic mansion in the center of Moscow.
The 64 brass panels were manufactured with beveled edges to make the joints between the panels purely a graphic element. The 1.5mm thick panels were beveled 0.3mm deep.
The vastness of the wall space, from floor to ceiling and wall to wall with a section above the doorway is very impressive. The brass finishing of the wall echoes the brass-colored kitchen cabinet fronts on an adjoining wall.
Craftsmanship of this caliber requires not only skill but also a keen eye for design. Each of the 64 brass panels, meticulously created, serves as a testament to the artistry involved. Their beveled edges, precisely cut to a depth of 0.3mm, create a seamless visual flow, blurring the lines between the panels and turning the entire wall into a mesmerizing canvas.
The sheer expanse of the wall, extending from floor to ceiling and spanning from one end to the other, is nothing short of awe-inspiring. It commands attention, immediately drawing the gaze of anyone who enters the room. The decision to continue the brass finishing above the doorway adds an element of grandeur, ensuring that every inch of the space is transformed into a work of art.
As you stand in this dining area of a historic Moscow mansion, the golden splendor of the polished brass panels captivates your senses. It’s as if the very essence of opulence and elegance has been etched into the walls. The warm, inviting glow of the brass harmonizes perfectly with the adjacent brass-colored kitchen cabinet fronts, creating a harmonious balance of color and texture throughout the space.
In this exclusive fusion of craftsmanship and design, the brass wall paneling elevates the ambiance, infusing the room with a sense of timeless luxury. It’s more than just decor; it’s a masterpiece that tells a story of precision, dedication, and a passion for turning the ordinary into the extraordinary.
We had to even out the surface and prepare the substrate before we could affix the brass paneling.
No amount of brass is ever too much in a home. The proprietress of the residence agrees, and so do the project’s architect Evgeny Bolotny and we at Brass Workshop.
