New restaurants keep opening in Moscow amid the corona pandemic. This challenging project was completed successfully when Moscow’s lockdown restrictions were at their most severe.
Our job was to plate the bottom parts of the marble tabletops and trim the edges with brass on 23 marble tables designed and manufactured in collaboration with #unizaro for the MOLLUSCA restaurant at 19/6 Bolshoi Kozikhinsky Lane. http://mollusca.ru/index.html. We plated the rims and the undersides of the marble tables with patinated polished brass. All joints on the brass parts were welded and polished into the perfect semblance of a solid piece of brass. The brass parts were given a protective coat to prevent oxidation and conserve the original look for years.
The endeavor in question was the meticulous transformation of the marble tabletops, a project that would grace the elegant interior of the MOLLUSCA restaurant, nestled at 19/6 Bolshoi Kozikhinsky Lane. The artistic synergy between skilled craftsmen and the creative minds at #unizaro culminated in the design and production of 23 marble tables that would become the focal point of this gastronomic establishment.
Our team was entrusted with the task of elevating these tables to the pinnacle of aesthetic sophistication. To achieve this, we embarked on a journey to plate the bottom portions of each marble tabletop with a glistening layer of patinated polished brass.
